Our weather here is a nice mix of cooler, rainy days and warm to hot days. We are so thankful that our artesian well is running perfectly. No chance at this point to run out of water....thank goodness!
Enjoy this beauteous day we have been given!

Clicks were in early yesterday morning and did not have time to post here before leaving for town (6:45am). And then upon getting home...totally forgot to post!
Still no fires anywhere around us this year! We have had more rain this summer than we have had in the last few years...great for the forest (and us)!!

I managed quick clicks!
My two week staycation comes to an end as I head to the city with Cathy this morning, son was unable to make the birthday celebration will be back later today. How can two weeks pass so quickly! Wonderful family time along with some bittersweet moments as we came full circle on Sunday. A fabulous birthday, surrounded by love awesome flowers and food, made enough food to see me to Christmas along with great pot luck appetizers and salads. Looking to get caught up here at Zazz. Patti I more than agree "life has no remote"!

Happy to hear that you had a fabulous family time Gerry!!

Hopefully it was totally soul filling!! (((Hugs)))
Great quote Gerry! LOL...when I growing up...I was told I was bossy. But look who gets things done now!! As the oldest of 4 girls, I was given the job of delegating work that needed to be done. Needless to say I was not the popular sister! LOL But seeing they were younger than me...I would lend a hand where needed. I worked right along side of my sisters as we "got 'er done"!
Just for you Gerry! :

Another moderate day...no fires anywhere near us thank goodness!

Catch up time .... had a very early start to my morning as will be off for city appointments this morning. Saturday saw to gran making an awesome lunch before heading back to the city for the flight back. It's been an incredible two week 'staycation' including a weekend family gathering for my long weekend birthday. I was surrounded by love, one lot of hugs and yes flowers filled vases indoors, outdoors beautiful gifted pots and pots of gorgeous fall chrysanthemums. As a side got some extra photo lessons which will see me taking both food and garden pics hopefully good enough to post!
For a week or so my computer would be shut down needing to restart, I did note shimmering at times and yes I was right it was my computer screen, a long ago birthday gift from dh, it was fifteen years old and served me well! It shut down on t he long weekend. Talk about great timing as gran and I were off to the city on the holiday Monday and set it up. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch. Super happy as my eyes need a large screen, my fair sized tablet works but too small for extra use.
To a new birthday year and memories to last a lifetime ...
