The Einstein quote made me laugh, happily leave it all in his hands!

A friend shares Tara Shannon quotes , I thought this one too good not to share.
“Where can I find hope?" asked Rabbit.“It’s always there,” said Bear, “waiting to be found. But a good time to find it is at night.” “Really?” asked Rabbit. “Yes.” said Bear. “It’s there, nestled amongst the stars, in the form of a promise.“A promise of what?” asked Rabbit.“A new day.” replied Bear" ... Awesome quote Gerry...gives pause to our busy days! :-)

Temps here are rising once again. Yesterday 31C. And it is predicted to be higher today!

“May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never Tire.” D. Simone

Beautiful Patti, D. Simone says it so well.

Weather here remains unsettled. Warmed a bit yesterday afternoon, sun is out may be a good outdoor day - or not. Either or I made up brine for pickled eggs. I love to have them in the fridge for a quick snack, as well made up my Ice Cream Pail Refrigerator Pickle brine which I found worked well when I had a bag of mixed peppers needing to be used. Great on hamburgers! Later I put them into little jars with plastic lids that have a rubber ring, pricey and while I can't find myself to use them in a canner they have a great seal. Will see how the day goes.

Another shared by my friend -
"I am too busy to see the flowers right now" said Tiny Dragon. "All the more to look at them" said Big Panda. "They might not be here tomorrow"

So true, these days one of my pleasures come day end after locking up is sitting back in my gazebo with a cup of Chai tea enjoining the flowers and watching the birds.)

Warmed making for a nice day, noted come Sunday the prediction is back to high temps. Really up and down with high temps seeing to storms across Saskatchewan. A nice warm gentle rain would be welcome as have been relying on the hose.

Have a great weekend.

We are already getting high temps (low to mid 30's) and it is supposed to be like this for at least a few days. Good thing...the grass is not growing quickly! :D

Your quote is another I try to live by! I need to be fluid in any situation out here in the bush...in other words...just get 'er done! And here is another one...if you don't have integrity...no one will take you seriously or believe you.

Your Integrity quote is so true Patti, integrity along with honesty has been part of our family life going back generations. A wonderful way to live right!

A beautiful morning but protesting back sees me off to a slower start in the backyard, has a plus as got the laundry and kitchen taken care of. Yes it's way beyond oh my aching back.

Invited to an annual family country barbecue and cookout this afternoon, but will forego as right now can't chance walking in uneven and unfamiliar areas. I am hoping the 20th will see that make for changes.
To a great weekend.

I hope you are now taking some self-care time for yourself Gerry! I am a great one for not doing that too!!!! :lol: But recently I have been taking care of "me". Because if I don't do it now...I will end up in a not so good way down the road. So if something does not get done...I don't sweat it anymore. Just go with the flow!

Ah....family time! That trumps anything on this planet!!! So very happy you have the opportunity to be with your family Misa!!! :D And I am sure it was soul filling and a very happy time for you all!

Gotta love the craziness of the weather! Cool one day...scorching the next and then comes the thunder/lightning and hopefully rain with it...and then repeat. What's up with that??? LOLOL!!! Oh for the old days when weather and seasons were predictable!

Been spinning everyday twice a day for a few days now and notice a big change in how I feel. I always thought that it would not be good to spin when I was upset about something (thought I would spin rope LOL). So I would stay away. They I read an article in my Spin Off magazine that changed everything for me. It was all about self-care and the wheel. The article had 3 stories of women who used the wheel in time of stress, mourning etc and how it brought them through. So, I decided to give it a try. My yarn turned out beauteously! And I felt lighter, centered and happy. I guess what I am trying to say here is in those stressful times we all have...do what you love to do and take care of YOU!

This quote brought you to my mind this morning Gerry :-):

“Sit in a room and read--and read and read. And read the right books by the right people. Your mind is brought onto that level, and you have a nice, mild, slow-burning rapture all the time.” Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth
