Your quote motivates, has me think to sis in laws advice for this years gardening - pick your battles! Going to keep attitude going.
Ahh to your garden Patti, good thing you have such a beautiful yard that says serenity and have vegetables available near by! The perennials are loving the moisture and my fall garlic the best ever! The rest will be late.
The storm threats remain and once again fortunately missed us. Had connections very early in the morning but off for most of the morning. Guessing a storm issue.

Severe weather continues over Saskatchewan, this morning sees a red alert for both severe weather as well as heat warning humidex close to 40. Thankfully we once again escaped flooding rains and the brunt of the storms, all too close for comfort. Forecast has severe storms into Wednesday. The sun is shining and calm right now has one hope for a good day.
Wishing you a wonderful day.

Right?!!! Both of your quotes Gerry are spot on!!!

DH told me yesterday that Winnipeg last week was the hottest place in North America...and yesterday DH's sister who lives there said it reached 43C. Our temps here are rising once again and yesterday was 31C with today being higher. Not boding well for a fireless season! YIKES!!!
Hope the severe weather keep skirting your area Gerry! Please keep safe!!!!

How wonderful that visit is happening Patti, hopefully your little chihuahuas are good travellers and you have a good shop day finding all on your list for the week! I foresee family, food and fun as well as a prep and prepare day tomorrow. Enjoy that visit.
Saskatchewan temperatures broke many records yesterday, warnings remain in place. Although I am so far behind I had to come in at two, love my garden generally we have dry heat but these past few days the humidity is unreal. I ended up heeding the red alert warnings and came in at two thankful I had turned on the air. Another coffee in the gazebo and back to the garden - June 5th and still seed packages in hand is a first!

Been up super early with much in the garden needing doing, the intense heat had me plan to get out there at the crack of dawn but joints protested, five here and about to head out and get as much as possible done today.
Always enjoy when FreeKibble has the the double kibble. Wishing everyone a wonderful June day, know you are going to have a wonderful week with your visiting family Patti. Now off to enjoy outdoor time.

You know what they say...the early bird gets the worm...so it is no surprise to me that you are up at the crack of dawn! Knowing you...you will be definitely be pacing yourself. Right? Enjoy your time in the garden!

You are right Gerry...today is prep and prepare day! Not too much to do...but enough to keep my busy! Picked up my new computer yesterday and found this morning that there is no power cord. ERG! Will deal with that this morning.
Your quote made me laugh out loud! Soooo get it! LOL

Rain???? What is that? We have not had any rain for months now albeit a few drizzles. We sure could use some. Thankfully no fires burning near us yet! There is a big fire in Kamloops on the Reservation. What a wonderful way to spend a day MIsa! Just an aside...I still can not view your your photo with my new computer.
