Weird things we eat because of our family

All this food talk has made me realize that it's time for lunch. Tomato soup with parm, black pepper and croutons sounds good but I don't call it weird.

Laury..the next time you go to the store buy the "Popchips" with Salt and Vinegar...TDF. I think it's an acquired taste. Everyone else in the family says "yuck". That's fine with me...all mine..all mine.

AND....I like salt on my watermelon!

Salt on watermelon just like pepper is a flavor enhancer, that isn't that wierd at all.

We always try to find food that I can enjoy without using the microwave. Our microwave clock and timer is so old the numbers don't show anymore. With me being shaky I sometimes hit a button twice without meaning to. Now I have something I can enjoy for lunch,

Neufchatel is awesome, and would work perfectly.

Yep, I always use neufchatel!

I don't think a lot of these are weird. The vinegar on fries is pretty common...some of the others, well...they might be a bit odd

I don't have any weird things I can think of that I eat now, but as a kid I loved white bread with butter (the real stuff) and sugar sandwiches. Potato chips on my sandwiches, and white bread (we grew up with Wonder bread) broken up in my dish of stewed tomatoes.

My dad was the ketchup on everything guy, but I never liked ketchup until I got older and just use it on burgers and fries. I am not much on "vinegary" tasting things, so don't like pickles, etc.

Oh, I thought of one I STILL do. This time of year I love the commercial eggnog on cold cereal instead of milk

geez I have a few things some I just won't mention here's one I like together..

flour-coated then fryed chicken livers with a side of vanilla ice cream topped with chili flakes mmmmmmmm!
