Going to make a few adult beverages from here while the wife is at work maybe I will be awake when she gets home!
Who needs ice when you can just set your drink down on the patio for a few minutes.

The sun popped out again today after a grey morning. Second day wearing shorts and feeling blessed knowing others are buried in white stuff.
My bulbs are taller, and will be blossoming soon!

Love hearing the spring bulbs are up and blooming to the south of the winter land of ice and snow here in Saskatchewan Sue, has me know spring is on the way. We are at a wind chill of minus 32 this morning but the days are getting longer and the sun is trying to shine. It's predicted we will have a cold March and April ... but I have daffodils budding in pots in my garage plant/modified outdoor summer buffet and extra seating area. Also a wall to wall counter of blooming geraniums for summer pots and a plant stand filled with herbs and starts. The blooming pots of geraniums, the herbs and plant saves warm the heart, I may have to move to the garage if this weather continues!

Good day everyone! Here's to the 1st of March! May Spring and grilling season arrive ahead of schedule for those of us in the North. For those of you where it's warm already, go ahead and share some of the sunshine!
The Zazz St Patrick's Day contest starts today! A HUGE thank you to Bea for all her effort in organizing that and to those of you who've voiced your enthusiasm! We're looking forward to the festivities.

Good day all.
It is a beautiful mild day over here and the snow is melting. We sat outside last night around a fire and had a few drinks with friends. We noticed a strange but beautiful moon, it had a ring around it. I had to take a photo!! Anybody know what it could be?

The night skies have been awesome this winter, for me clear nights the alignment of the planets the best ever, as you can guess Bea I was intrigued with the ring around the moon. That had me doing a search, found it is "caused when moonlight passes through thin clouds of ice crystals high in Earth's atmosphere" All said and done makes for a beautiful night sky!
