Sorry invictus, I didn't mean to offend. I look at resolutions as promises to myself to be a better person, things to strive for in the New Year. Sometimes I fall short, but thinking about it usually brings good results.

Like you said Inv, it works for some. I need structure, lists, goals; and to be organized and on the go. I just tend to be happier and it keeps me focused. Every person has their own way of accomplishing what makes them happy.

I don't do resolutions any more either. Just sets myself up to fail. Maybe my resolutions were unrealistic...who knows....I just don't do it any more! Good luck to all who are making those promises! ;)

I think everyones definition of resolution could be different. Mine, is Resolution=Self Improvement, Self Growth, anything I can do to make myself a better person, for me, and the world.

I"ll help you with knitting Ma. I'm an avid knitter. I made and sold those cute headbands the girls are all wearing this time of year. I thought for awhile they were strictly a young girl thing, but I've been wearing them myself. Here's a lookee at what I"m talking about. http://pinterest.com/search/?q=knitted+headbands

(the thing about helping you is that you almost have to be sitting next to someone to show them...an FYI. YouTube has oodles of videos that I use frequently for stitches I just can't seem to "get". I'm sure they have the beginnning knitting videos as well.)

MM, My mom was a knitter, I crocheted but haven't in years. I still have a table cloth I made years ago. Took me like 4 years to make it. I never learned to knit, always wish I did.
