Raining cats and dogs out- there is a really big cell on radar with dark red spanning maybe 100 miles moving SE into SE Ohio and West Virginia.
Hoping to cook today, at least want to get that recipe done for Chia's memory and cookathon.
I also need to make some gooseberry jam or a pie, seeing as I have 4 pints.
It's a good day to read too.
I missed this - did Chia pass? I used to cook a lot of her recipes.

Yes she did. She had gone down to Florida to visit when her new grandchild was expected and I think it happened there. Very unexpected.
Death has made himself busy lately.
Our dear uncle passed a couple weeks ago and taking care of his estate falls upon us and our cousins and all of us are out of state. Fortunately Bill's cousin could step up as my brother recently passed unexpectedly as well, and we just got back from his burial and whatnot.
I am about sick of it to say the least.
Next person that passes I am going after them and dragging their butt back here. I don't care if it makes them a zombie. It's just what's going to happen. I've had enough! ;)

After 20 days of rain. YES, 20; dry today. Maybe a quick pm shower; but, not likely. MY yard is wet and soggy. NO yard work.

Not much here. Work, errands, this and that; pretty SOS for me. Heading to a art show this weekend. Picked up my tent for my Oct/Nov trip to CO. Booked my hotel for St Aug, just a 3 day trip; and, pretty much all set.

NO, big events or anything here. Sort of boring!

My Neurologist put me on what he calls "a caveman" diet, I call it Paleo diet.
He said " if you can kill it, pluck it or dig it " I can eat it!
I jus thought his way of expressing it is priceless!

What a great way to put it! You can eat REAL food and avoid the crap like sugars, processed etc. Sounds like a winner to me
