Sorry Shadows. But you know they are wonderful to just watch! I am glad you were able to get into cooking now! It's a fun thing to do and the end result is often delicious! :D

I grew up hunting too. Sausage, Chili, Stew were all favorites. My Mom used to make a nice venison steak that was slow cooked and topped with onions and a light gravy, it was delicious.

I shot my first deer when I was 11. I cried, then I ate it for dinner. But I was back out hunting that week, short lived moment, lol. But, my Gramps was the hunter, Dad, not so much; but I loved hunting. Rabbit, duck, deer, pheasants, etc., Delicious!

Thanks for sharing Kim. It seems most of us from up north grew up eating game. When I was a kid I ate so many different things due to having brothers who loved to hunt year 'round. Thinking back now, poor Mom who had to cook it all to please my brothers who were so proud of their kills! :lol: :shock:
