Wow, Deely. Sam tore that string toy to pieces. Snickers loves the string toys but instead of leaving the pieces on the floor, she eats the string. I really don't want her to end up with a blocked bowel so no more string toys for Snickers. She used to tear the soft toys apart but quit doing that. Now she will "wash" the soft toys as if they need a good grooming.
Spooky (the kitty) is adamant about her bedtime and food. She has her own room likes to go to bed around 8pm with a FULL kitty food bowl. She will start pacing and talking around 7:45 and persist until she gets some cuddles and her bowl is filled. Morning is a different routine as she gets a spoonful of wet food in the morning. She will wait patiently while I make my coffee and take my meds BUT I darned sure better not even think of doing anything after that until she has her wet snack.

That was supposed to be a rope toy. If I can find the link, I'll post it.
I don't even get to make my coffee before I give the kids their treats...They're spoiled rotten!

Aw my dog redesigns some of her favorite toys too. She has a toy box full of toys. She likes to play a game where I pick out a toy and either hand it to her or toss it and she runs to go grab it, chew on it or shake it, then trots off with it to her "nest" of blankets. She only takes the ones she loves to the "nest " and leaves the others on the floor somewhere.
If I have anyone over, she gets concerned and hides all of her bones and favorite toys under all of the furniture and under her bed. She got especially nervous when I had my boyfriend over plus my parents, so she kept relocating her bones from one hiding spot to the next, never satisfied that the intruders hadn't seen here secret spot. It was very funny.
Her favorite plush toy is a Snoopy dog with one leg missing - well, the stuffing is missing from the leg. She also has a green bear with half the stuffing removed and a lamb with a hole in its leg.

She reminds me of that dog on the insurance co. commercial that keeps moving his toys from place to place.

Too cute!

My dog is strange. When I adopted her, I headed straight to Petsmart & bought her all kinds of different toys. She doesn't even look at them. But she latched on to 3 of the cat's toys that were already here, and loves them dearly. So I'll be shopping for my dog toys in the cat department...
