Re: Prayers Please
Oh girlfriend, if you need to let loose and rant. Please do! That's what friends are for. I am sure you are upset and pissed. It pissed me off. I was like, really? This child has water on the brain and a tumor and you won't refer this little precious boy to a specialist? What country are we living in?racrgal wrote:Thanks, Dissie! I passed on the phone number. Hopefully they can find some help soon. I'm trying to behave but I am just livid. (Deleted rant.)
Call your legislature, that's their job. Call your governor, Call the president. Honestly, leave a message of whats going on if you don't get a person to talk to, but leave a voicemail. Tell them you will call the press. If no one responds, call the press, someone will pick up on this and if it makes the news, think how many people will get pissed about it when it airs. You will get help if you raise enough stink. I know you shouldn't have to, but sometimes you just have to be the squeaky wheel, especially when its your family. But first try medi-cali. That what they are there for, to help low income families and this certainly qualifies. If they can't, I am serious about this. Raise a stink.

I'm just mortified that we give everything imaginable to those who are here illegally but won't take care of a VETERAN'S son! It's wrong on so many levels.

Oh Dissie, thank you SO much! I didn't know Ronald McDonald House helped with anything but housing. There is one right across from the hospital where they want to take A. They will be the next call. Thanks again!
