Re: Resolutions?
Also, I'm going to spend less money and work more overtime shifts so i can pay off my mortgage faster. I have 5 years left so if I can double up those payments I can pay it off in half that time, Then I can retire sooner!

Perfect Bea, thank you! I'm pretty excited about it actually.Beatrice wrote:Mam's if you have knit or crochet before, you already have the basics right?MaMere wrote:If ANYONE can help me with the knitting, crochetting thing PLEASE PLEASE guide me! lol
Then, find a pattern and start!!!
Whenever you are stuck google the stitch you are stuck on. Also, Youtube has tons of knitting and crochet help videos.
I have been knitting for ages and donate lots of stuff to the local hospice and premature unit at the hospital. I also make lots for underpriviledged families during the winter months ie; hats mitts scarves......
I think its wonderful that you donate like that, Angel on earth you are ;)
Re: Resolutions?
Now that sounds like a plan, Beatrice. We always add an extra amount to our payment to be applied to the principle and it really mounts up. Even if you don't double the payments, you can chip chip chip away at it.Beatrice wrote: Also, I'm going to spend less money and work more overtime shifts so i can pay off my mortgage faster. You not only reduce the total owed: you also reduce the interest you would be paying over time.

Re: Resolutions?
Sissy, if you can single and double crochet you can get started. Find a book with fillet crochet patterns. It is SO simple and will give you the confidence to try something more advanced. I'm not much help with the teaching. I learned from a book.MaMere wrote:If ANYONE can help me with the knitting, crochetting thing PLEASE PLEASE guide me! lol
My resolution is to move back to the valley.
