My resolution this year is to eat healthier. I'm not getting any younger so I should start taking better care of myself ;)
Also, I'm going to spend less money and work more overtime shifts so i can pay off my mortgage faster. I have 5 years left so if I can double up those payments I can pay it off in half that time, Then I can retire sooner!

Mam's if you have knit or crochet before, you already have the basics right?
Then, find a pattern and start!!!
Whenever you are stuck google the stitch you are stuck on. Also, Youtube has tons of knitting and crochet help videos.
I have been knitting for ages and donate lots of stuff to the local hospice and premature unit at the hospital. I also make lots for underpriviledged families during the winter months ie; hats mitts scarves......
Perfect Bea, thank you! I'm pretty excited about it actually.
I think its wonderful that you donate like that, Angel on earth you are ;)

Now that sounds like a plan, Beatrice. We always add an extra amount to our payment to be applied to the principle and it really mounts up. Even if you don't double the payments, you can chip chip chip away at it.

You not only reduce the total owed: you also reduce the interest you would be paying over time. :D

Sissy, if you can single and double crochet you can get started. Find a book with fillet crochet patterns. It is SO simple and will give you the confidence to try something more advanced. I'm not much help with the teaching. I learned from a book.

My resolution is to move back to the valley. :)

It is amazing. I've learned how to flat iron my hair, how to do a smoky eye - and not look like a raccoon  How to blow dry for fuller hair, how to get broken glass from jamming up the disposal - swear to God, we had it happen twice because SHOT glasses fell down the hole  And how to diagnose what was wrong with the furnace. Just a few!

I must take off 15 pounds - well not starting today :D :D :D But over the year I will get back on track.
Do all I can to continue to stay healthy
Laugh every day
Do a good anonomous deed for someone every week
Stay positive even when someone lets you down
Know the difference between what I can change and what I have no control over - Don't stress over the "No Control" Live with it

Bergy, I'll just borrow those if you don't mind. It wasn't anonymous, but your suggestions qualify as a good deed you did for me this morning. :D
