I'm okay with cabbage.
As a matter of fact, your ground turkey & cabbage stirfry was the first recipe I saved! I'll try it without the turkey first - save some money if it isn't a hit, but I think it will be.

Thanks for the idea!
And, AnnieD, I will search for crushed tomato recipes. I have one great recipe that calls for them, but it doesn't have basil or oregano. It would probably be fine with the addition, but I don't want to get tired of it. That's easy to do when it's good, but takes years to "recover"! Ha-ha!
Well don't I feel special

Now I'm hoping it's one you enjoy ;)

Those are great ideas, too! I'm sure a bit of wine would help with the flavor of flavor of crushed, but the kids don't go for it.

Kids.

I could add a little here & a little there - meaning of the crushed. Crushed are more intense than sauce, but not as concentrated as paste. Hmmmm ... hee-hee! Thanks!

This reminds me of a funny quote I saw a while back. "I cook with wine, sometimes I even add it to the food"

Ha-ha! A friend of mine calls it "Cook's helper"! Whether it's an ingredient or not really is irrelevant. ;)
