It looks like a heavy wet snow has hit the north east...1.7 million are without power!

Wow! Glad it's there and not here! Yes, I'm selfish! We will be knee deep in snow sooner than I would like. It's been cold enough here, just no precipitation. Frosty, crusty mornings. Today it didn't get over 30 degrees but sunny and brisk.

Holey Buckets! How far up the east coast? My daughter will be traveling to NC soon!

I feel for the folks of new england and well a little farther west! Last I read over 2 mil without power! :shock:

Dissie, It's a lot worse than the experts thought. Now they're saying 3 million without power. Prayers going out to all who were in the storms path.

I saw on the news yesterday that not only were there millions without power but 3 people lost their lives in the storm too. Lets hope this storm is over with quickly.
