Raleigh is looking at temps around 105 this weekend... So I'm taking off Friday for the Outer Banks for a few days. Highs there are only supposed to be in the 80's.

This has been the worst June in about 20 years - Rain rain and more rain, flooding everyhere. Anyone living by a creek or lake have been flooded out. Many homes on evacuation notice and many already evacuated. It is unreal. I am totally safe not near any floods - Yesterday was a sunny day and people actually looked stunned to see the sun!

We are staying on Hilton Head Sun & Mon - of course we picked the hottest weekend of the year!
Hopefully the sea breezes will keep it a bit cooler.
