That quote is right on Patti!
Yesterday squeezed in a plant shop, for the first time ever I may not have any hanging baskets with large matching pots near the entry. I have always had Priscilla, Bordeaux petunias or similar colours of petunias with white Bapcopa. While I make or choose matching combinations of other varieties this year just not there. Love colourful flowers but the combinations I am finding have me wonder if someone mixed up the plugs when making up the baskets! Like wild!
However I indulged and picked up mature pots of a cherry tomato, a jalapeno and a chili pepper all already bearing fruit to enjoy until mine are ready. Love snacking on cherry tomatoes and having fresh peppers for cooking.
Coffee break over now back the garden, a cool morning Not yet nine and still only 11 C/ 53f most of our June days intense heat and humidity early in the morning. This afternoon we are expecting smoke that will see me indoors. I am tired so will go with the flow! Wishing everyone a great day!

Your quote says it all!!!
Gooda morning my plant lady!

I really enjoy reading about what you are doing in the garden! We had smoke here yesterday...and this morning...it is raining and supposed to carry on for the next few days. So happy about the rain...especially when it is not accompanied by thunder/lightning! lol duh!

Enjoy this most beauteous day!

For us here...it is rain. I never complain about rain anymore...keeps the forest moist so less risk of forest fires.

Sorry I've been quiet past few days, ladies! I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop; I made a couple of simple copper wire rings and created a pendant from a copper sheet and a hand saw. I hope to share it when I figure out what to do for the necklace part.
I understand your sentiment about the spoon, Patti - I have one spoon that my husband absolutely hates, and does not match any of our other spoons, but it is hands down my favorite spoon, especially for soup or ice cream.

Happy you enjoyed your workshop! I so understand about taking the time with your craft Misa!!! I too take the time with my craft to the detriment of household duties etc at times...and the thing about that...the chores are always there when you get to them! Right?

Today was one of my inservice days - it was about incorporating agricultural literacy into the classroom. Racked up on some books to add my classroom library, held a Madagascar hissing cockroach (not sure who was more terrified - me or him), and learned several experiments to use...too bad I don't teach science any more.
Much needed rain has moved in to possibly settle for the next couple of days - I won an umbrella as a door prize today, so I am prepared.

OMW Gerry...your quote is so very true!

It rendered an out loud laugh this morning! Thank you for that! Hope you had a great time in your happy place! I just know you did!
Wow Misa...you are a lot braver than I!!! I would never in a zillion years voluntarily hold a cockroach...evah! Just thinking of it makes me squirm...LOLOLOL! Thank goodness there are people like you that can do these things!

Happy to hear you are getting rain and you are prepared! I bet it is so welcomed!
