Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! Daughter and I had our Christmas Eve lunch, this year a charcuterie with all our favorite cheeses and favorite delicacies. As always these past ten years New Years Eve is a time of remembering and the missing, then reminding myself how fortunate I am to be surrounded by my wonderful family. This year for New Years Eve and today improved weather sees me off to prepare for a turkey dinner this year 'Christmas on New years Day!

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! Daughter and I had our Christmas Eve lunch, this year a charcuterie with all our favorite cheeses and favorite delicacies. As always these past ten years New Years Eve is a time of remembering and the missing, then reminding myself how fortunate I am to be surrounded by my wonderful family. New Years day spent with family was a great way to start the year! 'Christmas on New Years' saw to turkey and trimmings, yesterday once again my turkey/dressing sandwich topped with cranberries.
Today the fridge, on to freezer stash and a big pot of soup.
Hope you had a lovely start to the New Year! Sharing a New Years quote that we know is so very true!!

Your New Year's sounds wonderful Gerry! Our turkey sammies are the same as yours...so I know how gooda they are! Has the feral cat been back to eat? And btw...what are your temps now? We are sitting at -11C (12F) right now.
