Eastern Fall Foliage

Post by kberry » Tue Oct 18, 2011 12:44 pm

Have a question!!!
It's time for my husband to put in for 2012 vacation time.
So we decided that we want to take our first time ever trip to the North eastern states.
We would like to come up when the foliage is changing from green to the beautiful fall colors.
We would have a week to 10 days tops.
Would be great to know some "must see" places along the way and maybe even a great chance to meet some of you!

So if any one has any ideas on any thing and time of year to go that would be so helpful!
Like around late September or early to mid October.

Thank you!

Kberry, I don't live in the eastern US or else I would be welcoming you and your hubby with open arms!

It sounds like you guys are planning a wonderful trip. That sounds fun. More of us need to "see" our country! Have you tried checking out bed and breakfast places to stay? Usually those websites have wonderful information about "their" area and what to do and see.

I am sure someone will come along soon and be able to put you in the right direction! I am interested to see what people have to say is a "MUST SEE" about their own neck of the woods!

I found a site where you can see the changing leaves from this year. They also can give you more information about when they change so you can make plans for next year-

I hope that it helps!
