This is another one he looked into. He did this on his front porch and driveway. He has a very steep drive way. He used a basic grey; so you can't even tell there is paint.

Wow Dissie that's an impressive garden! I'm so jealous. We're no longer physically able to have a garden but the farmers market is only a couple of miles away.Dissie wrote:I got enough flowers to fill 6 hanging pots, and 3 stand on the ground pots. I need more!we had impatiens and another one, not sure of the name but it was pretty! LOL Need more pots!
I got 20 tomato plants, peppers of all sorts, onions, eggplant, cabbage, brussels, cucumbers, zucchini and cucumbers. I think thats it.I will plant pole beans, radishes, peas and lettuce, they are fast growers and can do them from seeds. Oh and potatoes. Think thats it. I also have rhubarb already coming up! So sad I can't get my corn from my guy this year, but his daughter moved him into her home, (he is 89) He always planted 3 acres of sweet corn for the deer. He let us friends take what we wanted, but what was left was for the deer.

Thanks Kc, I saved the link and I think I have a couple of friends who would be willing to do this for us...with a day of good food and drink. ;)Kchurchill5 wrote:http://www.valsparpaint.com/en/find-the ... paint.html

I had the same paint on my porch. Good for NO slip with a pool.

Also, he had workers here as well.
Been fun actually. Did some fishing, played with his pups; and just relaxed at night. Tonight is my last night; then home.
I am sure my kitties will be glad to see me; however a good friend has been taking care of them 2x/day. So, they haven't been too traumatized!
Re: What's Up Today
Not much going on here. We're on our 3rd landscaping company since we moved to town and we have yet to find one who shows up when they promise. What the heck has happened to taking pride in your work and your word? We've been waiting a week and a half for the last one (and he was married to DH's cousin) to finish up the french drainage system. He was supposed to be here this morning, sigh.
I'm off to grill dinner and drink a beer!

I really get buzzed off when there is a no show or even really late from anyone that made appointment. They all have cell phones as long as the call I don't mind - but otherwise I have cancelled many for no show. My time is valuable too! I am paying them for service. Having said that living in a small town there are only so many that I cancall for some services so I do get caught up in that!

Re: What's Up Today
Kitties are happy again after I bribed them with food. Back on the bed with me, lol.
I am a stickler too when it comes to appts. I keep a schedule - I make an appt, I expect someone to keep it. Or, call and say ... running late; or need to reschedule, etc. My time is just as important as theirs.
Grill and beer ... sounds like a plan to me. I noticed my grill is not working good tonight. I may have to get replacement parts; but, so far it will cost me 110 in parts. I might just get a new grill. I use mine so much. Will have to do some research first.
Quiet night at home!
