This is picky from an electric sandwich toaster

This is one of the round ones

This is a square double one

These sandwiches were my saviour in trying to get our DS (autism with intellectual impairment and now 30 year of age) try different foods and he loved toasted sandwiches but it enabled us to put different fillings in so he could experience different tastes, when introducing something new to him I would put it in a jaffle for lunch and then at night the filling would be on his plate and at first he would put on the I am going to be sick but in a stern tone we would say EAT and because we know he had enjoyed it for lunch it was a case of I know this and yes I like and he ate. As said earlier you can treat the bread like you would a pastry and put sweet fillings in them or even use pastry instead of bread, there is a restaurant in Melbourne that features jaffle desserts on their menu, so they are very versatile.
