Here's a pancake recipe that we like, some make them thick, we like ours thin, or at least the ususal pancake thickness, so i blend them a little longer than most do, they come out looking like regular pancakes, love the oatmeal texture.

Still looking for that waffle maker, when I finally managed to get to Costco we were more than surprised to find they close at five on Sundays. One day! Meanwhile been enjoying http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/pancakes-two, the Oatmeal pancakes will make for a great surprise when the gk's have an overnighter! Been one lot of Saturday morning pancake/waffle 'parties' at our house over the years.
