Bread Tips
That end of the bread, the crust, that 1 roll. Just throw them in a large ziploc bag. When you need bread ... Just chop it up or use the food processor. Muffins also work great for this.
I also buy the day old bread sometimes and bring it home. Let it set a day - make crumbs and then put it in a bag. Now I have great bread crumbs for stuffing, a topping, filler - just about anything.
And you can process them fine or rough chopped, toast or not. And the mix of breads makes it the perfect stuffing.

I had 2 apple cinnamon muffins left over a few weeks ago. I put them in the freezer and forgot about them. Then later, I thawed them, processed them, toasted them in a dry pan, right on the stove top. Added those to celery, onion, butter, and walnuts and stuffed that into chicken breasts. Baked, brushed with apple jelly as they baked and served it with wild rice (added cranberries and scallions) and finished with roasted green beans.
WOW, easy and delicious with very little work.
NO WASTE!!
