Just popping in to join the celebration. Bea, I just love your opening graphics! They are beautiful and set the mood perfectly.

Bergy, you can be my Valentine ;). I have an online friend who I always send a Valentine e-card to cause she doesn't have a special someone to celebrate with anymore. She always appreciates it and it makes her so happy :D. She usually sends me back some kinda hilarious one to match my personality lol.

On another note, V-day for me and my bf is nothing too fancy. He makes more of a big deal about it than I do and usually gets me flowers when I specifically tell him weeks ahead of time no flowers please. All I ever want is chocolate and I usually show him which to buy me - I love the Guylian seashells which are pretty expensive here so I only let him buy me that on special occasions (like V-day or my bday) and this year I want a bottle of red wine to enjoy with him. We don't do a special meal cause I always enjoy his company and feel the love, not just on V-day. That said, I do love to bake and make V-day themed goodies .

Okay everyone, I'm going to start this one off with this cause it is definitely one of my favourites, it makes exactly 2 small servings. It is rich and decadent, so easy to make and the photo shows V-day better than any of my others lol.

Hope you and Don enjoy the butter tarts Derf, they are yummy.

KC, thanks for letting me know, Linda has added some wonderful recipe ideas there. I have posted a link to this event there, maybe we will lure some peeps over to add some photos of their recipes here.

Roxanne, oh my, looks divine!!! Thanks for posting the first photo, I'm sure you will be teasing us with many more....

Here is a main dish that would be great for Valentine's day, spicy and not too heavy. It is great served with rice or chinese noodles or even a steamed chinese vegetable blend.
