The packet said risoni but it wasn't till I opened the packet that it was not risoni but wasn't sure what type it was other than it was tiny and tubular and I know risoni looks more like rice in shape, but it still worked out good though I would cut it back to 1 cup of pasta for us as I felt it was far more than we normally eat but I try to keep the carbs down and my dietician has recommended that a serving size of dry pasta for me should be no more than 40 to 50 grams tops, so for 4 serves I should only have cooked about 160 to 200 grams tops and the recipe calls for 250 grams (1 1/2 cups), so I figure 1 cup would do us.
