To much milk

Post by Shadows1 » Thu Apr 18, 2013 2:47 pm

My wife is still used to buying milk as if we still had all the kids home. Sometimes a gallon goes quick sometimes it just goes ( turns ). If you have the same trouble with milk starting to turn or reach it's date all is not lost.
We have started to freeze it in icecube trays ( ours holds about 2 Tbsp in each section ) then when a recipe calls for milk we go to the freezer and take out what we need. Sometimes in hot food recipes we drop in as is sand let thaw in the cooking process.
