How to measure sticky ingredients

Post by cooks42 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 5:39 pm

If you're measuring corn syrup, honey, or molasses, either heat the measuring spoon in
hot water, then go ahead and pour the ingredient immediately into the measuring spoon, or you can spray the measuring spoon with a little non-stick pan spray.

I usually rub on a little veggie oil on the spoon or in the cup. This tip works great for peanut butter too.

Hi Laury~ I have my good days and not so good days, but we have found by trial and error lOL (the laugh's on me!) that when my hubby gives me the antibiotics in my IV, and it drips too slowly, I pass right out! I fall asleep like, right now! So, now when the football games come on, I watch him REAL closely! LOL I am feeling a lot better, Laury, thanks so much for asking. I'll be back to my old naughty self real soon. Then, look out, all of ya!! Thanks again for all of the love and support from everyone! I love you all!
