Smoked sausages are nice with beans or cassoulet.
I have recently done a double smoked ham as well. And a smoked corned beef brisket. I only did one turkey this season (in the crockpot).
I might work with the smoker if the weather holds. Those -40F wind chills we were getting recently can scare anyone off. Not conducive to keeping a correct smoking temp.

Weather was sort of warm here yesterday so I spent about an hour cleaning my smoker of spider webs and snake skins getting it ready to use again.
I did not use it much this winter which is unusual for me.
What are you smoking...of the food groups LOL!

Lee, it's so funny you post this. Hubby and I did the same today, cleaned up the smokers and said let's make use of these smokers this year!!! We have plans, lol...

Anyone else going to use their smokers this year, now is the time to be thinking of it.

We will definitely be using the smokers this year Lee!! My brother helped the hubby "lanscape" a small area of the yard for smoking. We had to move them because my neighbour was complaining about the smell of the smoke going in her yard :?

Some people.
I have never in my life had a complaint about smells of food or cooking.
If I had I might lay off cooking for a day and spread some fresh mulch.
And planted something in it. Just for her.
It pays to be thoughtful like that. ;) Or not.

When I lived by the beach in Florida, the lady next door was from South Korea. She enjoyed going out back and grilling bulgoki about twice a week. The sea breeze wafted the aroma right into my windows.

Not one complaint, except I want some of her cooking right now, 35 years later.
