OK no interest I guess.
With Thanksgiving just around corner you might want to think about using your smoker for your turkey or ham. I am willing to guess your guests will thank you for it.

Not much smoking happening here this year Lee. We sold our camp and we sort of forgot about the smoker..... Sad but true.
The only smoking going on here is pot, hahahaha (It's legal here now) .....
Hubby and I were just talking about this and with the hunt season in full force right now, we decided that we have to spark the smoker up once the moose and deer are "in the bag".

Sorry about you selling your camp I know you guys enjoyed it.
Not legal here yet except for medical use ( I have my card ).
I am looking at a ham we have in the freezer, next few days I hope.

Loved hearing about your camp time Bea I'm sure there are times you miss it! When we sold and moved we really missed our old fashioned smokehouse, brought in the purchased one to do bacon, hams and sausages. A few years back I was thinking to getting a replacement, had to agree with son with his smokers plenty of room to do mine along with his. I am guessing you are making your #recipe22422. Would be great to see you add it to our Recipezazz Thanksgiving over at Potluck! :)

New Years meals can be great smoked.
What can you think of to cook in the smoker?

Agreed! Smoked ribs and brisket would get me to a New Year's party. :)

That double smoked ham sounds awesome and prefect for New Years Shadows.

Have lovely young neighbors that love to cook, I see I will soon be surrounded by the tantalizing aroma of either smoked ham or turkey possibly both being prepared in their smokehouse for their holiday gathering. They have been known to share!

Son is smoking sausages today, looking forward to freshly smoked homemade sausage added to my turkey and trimmings for New Years dinner. The weather sees family traveling in for a belated 'Christmas' dinner tomorrow.

Happy New Year! Enjoy that smoked ham!
