When I lived by the beach in Florida, the lady next door was from South Korea. She enjoyed going out back and grilling bulgoki about twice a week. The sea breeze wafted the aroma right into my windows.

Not one complaint, except I want some of her cooking right now, 35 years later.
Right?!?

Ok the daytime temps here are ranging from 55°F to calling for 70°F + over the next week.
I am looking to get my smoker going and looking for something to smoke!
What are your ideas?

With hams being on sale you could do a double smoked ham. Might be some brisket on sale as well.

Those are old stand byes, looking for fresh ideas.
I am thinking salmon or lamb.
A new twist to double smoked ham is a rum injection, have not tried one yet, but saw it elsewhere.

Summer is here and I thought that you guys would be in full grill or smoker mode!
This place is dead!
What have you been cooking out doors????

You are right Lee, it has been quiet here. I am doing a lot of outdoor cooking and we have sparked up the smoker a few times already....
This weekend is Canada Day and we are having a few friends over for a smoke feast... Sparking up a couple of our smokers and everyone puts whatever they want on there. Should be fun :)

Weather is cooling here so if my health allows I am going to smoke some more cheeses and salmon using cool smoking method.

Hope you managed to get to smoking that salmon and cheese Shadows. Love smoked cheeses and salmon, a must these past years at our house for special occasions especially come Christmas and New Years. I am fortunate that a number of family members and my next door neighbour have smokers ... and share!

Getting to be that time of year ( for those of you that don't smoke year round ) to get your grills and smokers out and ready.
