Frozen, cooked shrimp...what to do
Re: Frozen, cooked shrimp...what to do
How about something like this? http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/shrimp ... ille-gumbo
This is a really flavorful recipe, you could add the shrimp at the end, just long enough to warm them. You might not notice the lack of flavor

Since they're basically all I can get here, I've had to use them in most things. They are pretty darn tasteless all on their own, aren't they?

If you like shrimp lightly fried, this is one way that I fix them.
Skillet Fried Shrimp
½ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 Tablespoons of oil
In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. In a skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of oil on medium heat. Dip shrimp in flour mixture to coat. Fry shrimp in a skillet of hot oil for 3 minutes on each side. Super easy and very tasty! Serve.
