pineapple cookies

I saw on facebook cookies that looked like they used pineapple rings (from a can) but the recipe is wrong as it uses crushed pineapple. Does anyone have this recipe so cookies look like they used a pineapple ring?

I have a pineapple cookie recipe posted but it uses crushed pineapple...I haven't made them yet... #recipe25455 ...do you have the link to the facebook post...did they chop up the ring in small pieces or did they use the whole ring and put it on top of a large cookie...just wondering...

You are correct...the picture doesn't look like what the recipe would create...the picture looks like pineapple rings dipped into a brown sugar mixture of some kind (may be a cookie mixture) and drizzled with a syrup type coating with no cherry in the center...good luck on finding that recipe...who ever posted the recipe may not have included a photo and AI created one for it...
