Pecan Pie Bars

Hi everyone. Hope the holidays are treating you all nicely.

I have the sudden urge to make Pecan Pie Bars. Which is something I've never made before, never even made pecan pie before really. But I am looking for a tried and true recipe. I want to take them over to my friends house as a dessert after Christmas dinner. Something plain would be nice cause I want to do a chocolate drizzle and decorate the drizzle lines with Christmas sprinkles for the season. I've seen recipes which use eggs in the filling and ones which don't. So I dunno what to choose and if it'll make a difference in taste too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not that I know of Coffee, I didn't find any recipes like what I have in mind here on Zazz. Was hoping someone would have a tried n true one to share though.

Sorry then... :cry: I thought I seen something here. Darn. Seems like the recipe requests don't get answered real fast. I have a request or asked for help about a salad with no response. I think people just don't frequent these areas very much.

Thank you everyone! The recipe I had in mind is like Dot's recipe. But when I searched yesterday I did not see that one show up, just the other 2. Again, thank you and have a safe and happy holiday season everyone!
