I have several at home but this is the only one I can access from work:

Peanut Butter Brownies
1 1/2 cups butter , divided
3/4 cup baking cocoa , divided
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
18 ounces chunky peanut butter
1/3 cup milk
10 large marshmallows
2 cups confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 1 15X10 inch baking dish (13x9 would be fine).

In a saucepan melt 1 cup butter and stir in 1/2 cup of the cocoa. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

In a bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add flour and salt gradually. Beat in cocoa mixture. Transfer to greased baking dish and bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until middle has set.

In a microwave safe bowl, microwave peanut butter for two minutes. Spread onto brownies and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

In the saucepan melt the remaining butter and add the remaining cocoa, milk, and marshmallows. Whisk until melted and combine. Add confectioners sugar and whisk until combined and no lumps remain. Cool slightly and spread on top of peanut butter layer. Refrigerate 30 minutes to set.

OK, so they're not exactly "different". But they're really darn tasty and very easy to make. :D

No-Bake Peanut Butter Squares

What you need:
1 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup peanut butter
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups chocolate chips

How to make them:
Combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter & powdered sugar.
Stir until well blended.
Pat into a 9" by 13" pan.
Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave.
Spread chocolate over mixture in pan & cool into refrigerator.
Cut into squares and serve.

I wonder if you could make a pb&j bar use a peanut butter cookie dough for the bottom and top with jam and perhaps some of the leftover dough as a streusel topping? Just off the top of my head.
I have linzer cookies on my mind but they are so much work and am considerin a bar form of them".......

My favourite peanut butter bar recipe is very similar to Felix's and no matter how many others I try I always end up back to this one.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons peanut butter

Directions
Line an 8 x 8 square pan with foil and grease lightly.
In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1/2 cup peanut butter until well blended.
In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the 2 tbsps peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.

Cheetos, I am loving your idea! I could see myself making something like that in a tart pan with the removable bottom and then cutting into wedges, yum!

I just realized you asked for a tried and true recipe.....I was thinking of those band j bars and how graham cracker crumbs would be great with it..... Might have to figure that one out myself. ;)

This is very good, and a no bake recipe to boot. Just make sure you keep them in the fridge, as coconut oil tends to melt easily.
