The family is okay, however my Parent's vacation house didn't fair too well, as there was 3 feet of water inside, and the whole development was flooded. The house backs on a lagoon leading out to Barnegat Bay, so along with water in the house their floating docks were all destroyed as well. In the photo below, the water is only 8" from the top of the bulkhead and that is low tide. Fortunately for them they have flood insurance so its just a matter of swimming through the red tape and having incredible patience.

Oh wow, what a mess!!! Looks like they will be busy cleaning up for a while. I'm happy no one was hurt and thank goodness they had insurance.
