Circumstances as they have been has me late for Cooking On A Dime which I think is timely with the cost of groceries these days. Admittedly along with considering the cost I love cooking, have always gardened, canned and make one lot of my own spices, dressings and such.
Bread is the one thing I find for both taste and cost so worth making which sees my breadmaker a real workhorse. I love soups which are great for families but particularly good for those cooking for one. I do one lot freezing, have invested in the screw top containers and a food sealer which keep my freezer stash tasting as good as the day it was made. My freezers allow for variety in my meals. Like shopping at a deli but far cheaper and in my opinion homemade is for most part so superior to much on the grocer shelf. All in all Cooking On A Dime is a great addition to the forums.
I have made but sorry I did not do the tag ... the review is in for

Better late than never
Gerry. Thanks a bunch, I'm so glad you enjoyed the Burrito Bowl. It is a favorite here. I hope you enjoy the soup!
We do some gardening also, but not as much as we used too.

Nice to see one of Bergy's recipes being tagged. I miss that girl
I think I will go through her recipes when I get back and add a few of hers to the list.

I miss our Bergy too. She loved burgers and I can definitely understand that, as I love them too. It thrills me to make recipes of our friends who have passed on. It shows us that they are not to be forgotten and reminds me to send up a prayer.
