Went to the walk-in clinic yesterday, and for sure my gallbladder has to be removed. As if it wasn't visible on the x-ray. But now I am referred to a Specialist who will do the surgery. So some more waiting.

OMG You hadn't even said you had been feeling badly! I hope you have a quick recovery. Can you do it while the kiddo's are out for Christmas break?

Dissie, I haven't said anything about feeling horrible until just recently. The only pain I have ever felt is a sore back, which I always explained away as a bad back or weak muscles. I decided to start dealing with it last month and went back to physio therapy, I had 2 sessions, the first one was awesome I came out feeling great, but put my back out again lifting heavy things, so my second session the lady was working on my back muscles and couldn't get one to release, she said it felt very strained and was worried that I might have tore it. So she pressed me to go to Dr and get xrays done. I was going to be stubborn, as I would have to take a day off work, yadda, yadda, yadda.

But I went anyways, did some running around first trying to get an appointment at a small hospital not far away, but they wanted me to head to the clinic, but with a 5 1/2 hour wait, I went to emergency instead. They gave me a shot and took some x-rays. The Dr. came in and asked me where my pain was and I told her and she smiled and told me I had lots of gallstones. I got to see the x-ray and at the very edge there were to stones all neatly piled up. The x-ray did also show a strained muscle, so she gave me a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers. I have been to walk-in clinics twice to get a referral to get a ultra-sound done and to get my results and to get another referral for a Specialist.

I had a pretty intense flare-up today, my fault, I woke up feeling awesome (aka no pain), and really wanted a Eggnog Latte, so I added eggnog to my first cup of coffee, felt fine, so my second cup I wanted caramel, so I added some caramel syrup and cream. Well that started a flare-up. So I took an anti-inflammatory, then after going to the library and lunch I ended up lying down for almost 2 hours, just reading and napping, until the pain subsided. I am feeling some pain now so I took both meds and am heading to bed.

thinking of you Crazy~hoping you are feeling better.

My New Year is going to consist of more exercise!
Minimum 10,000 steps per day!
Am incorporating the 10 Minute Trainer Workout into my week also (Tony Horton~Beach Bodies) it's a muscle confusion theory, and guaranteed results.

Don't have a schedule as of yet, but as soon as I make it up, I will post here.

Hoping you all are doing well in your Health and Fitness Endeavors!

I hope that you are feeling better, also, Crazy!

! was planning to make several including exercise at least 4 days a week, refuse to have any more tests, and a few others. I realized the next day why I can't have any resolutions. I woke up the next day and couldn't get enough air into my lungs. I need to wait until the middle of January when I see my doctor. It's obvious that there is something going on.

I will exercise 30 minutes a day when it is advisable to exercise. Last week I had 3 days. This week I did it today. Next week Tom will be home all week except Monday because he has a medical procedure on Thursday that I have to go with him for. If I don't go,
he can't have the procedure. It's harder to exercise when he's here.
My pacing the apartment tends to get on his nerves.

Those are good goals for you, MaMere!!

You have done wonderfully Laury! Keep listening to your body, don't stress and overdo! One step at a time, on days that you are feeling it.
I pray that all goes well for You, and Tom, especially next monday.
