WHAT'S FOR DINNER - FEBRUARY 2014

A day late - Thanks Shadows for reminding me!!

Can you believe it's February? What happened to January?

Well, I planned my lamb meatballs tonight ... but; that changed. I'm helping a friend move a sofa, her little VW isn't quite big enough, lol - and, I have a truck. So, she offered to buy dinner. I think Thai food from our favorite place. It's been a few months since we had that.

I did marinate the meatball mix all day; then made up the balls. So, in the freezer - Monday's dinner.

Up late, knee is killing me. Didnt eat last night. Damn sink is backed up in kitchen. Ruined our dinner plans and plans for a cake for my birthday. Went to bed mad and now I am up.

Superbowl Sunday, It isn't going to ruin my day. We are doing wings and other fun things. Bathroom water will have to work until I get a plumber in on Monday.

Oh my Dissie! :( Not a very nice way to spend your birthday! Hopefully your knee will feel a wee bit better today...or at least the game might take your mind off of it...and you will be able to eat!!! Take care! :YMHUG:

Morning!

Thai was good last night. Easy after we lugged a HUGE sofa up 2 floors :)
Dis, I hope your knee feels better; and, sorry about your sink. That sucks! Hopefully you can relax a bit today and enjoy the game.
I'm sitting here banging the **** out of my keyboard. My M, N, J, and tab don't work unless ... well you get the idea. Off to the shop tomorrow. I'm guessing a new laptop is in my future.

Today's Cooking ...

What happened to January? I swear, that was the longest month EVER. At least twice a week I kept thinking it simply *had* to be February by now, yet it dragged on and on and on. Stupid injury sitting home doing nothing for weeks and weeks! :| Although I'm sure the narcotics didn't help with the whole sense of time thing.

I ran away to my niece's house yesterday for the game today. We're a Seahawks house, because we could all agree and they're a secondary team for all of us when our teams don't make it. We're having cheeseburger dip and chips, banana pudding (the one with the Nilla wafers), #recipe4788, a bleu cheese walnut spread I still have to post, a gorgonzola walnut cheese spread I still have to post, crackers, cheesy chubby wienie wraps (smoky links wrapped in cheese and crescent roll dough, then baked), taco salad, #recipe3702, and #recipe10379.

There are three adults and three children. Whatever.

Back to my lamb meatballs tonight. Already made in the freezer. Tzatziki, couscous w/chickpeas and mint. Grilled squash.
Busy day, and work tonight.

Still fighting with computer issues. Have to look at a few more today.

Lamb meatballs sound great, Kc. I spent today in town with the elderly neighbor.
I did get a lot of shopping done. I'm in a crash and burn mode tonight. I'm doing mini roast beef and cheese sammies, olives, pickles and chips. I bought a large bag of tangerines, so that'll be dessert.....to bed early tonight!

Deepster, love tangerines. I often have fruit for dessert; I prefer that over sweets. I always love sandwiches. Get a good night's sleep.
