Morning Everyone!

For those who celebrated Halloween ... I hope you didn't get rained out. I know many places, were expecting some bad weather; and some even postponed Halloween. No kids in my neighborhood; but, my orange lights were on, and my pumpkin lit. It smelled so good.

Ladies #1 and #2 have a community event to attend.

Me, back to Sue's Baked Shrimp tonight, served with toasted baguettes vs pasta. And a salad on the side with Greek dressing.

Trick-or-treat is set for tonight. It was postponed yesterday because of the rain and storms we had yesterday evening. It is a pretty day today; sun, blue skies, and cool temps. 8-) I heading out for a walk.

It’s Pizza night! :D

Elsie, glad the kids at least get to go out. And it's not a school night either. Pizza! A perfect Fri Dinner!! Enjoy the nice weather.

I think I have time this evening to go for sushi. Unless it's still raining with gale-force wind, in which case I'll choose something accessible from the skywalk (probably a burger).

Spent a good 5 hours in the yard - but all is done for winter. Now, winter is different down here; but, we still trim, fertilize, rake, replant, gardens etc.

Tonight, my first lettuce harvest, boy was it good. But, it is more work this time of year, oak leaves, raking, gutter cleaning ; at least 2-3 x just in Oct Nov. So, It was a lot of work. Pressure washing at least 4x a year down here if you have oak trees; and lots of outside painting and caulking. Lots of plants too, I'm guilty of.

All Done. Now, work is cancelled tonight, YIPPEE!! I made a delicious shrimp dinner w/salad; and I think I am just going to VEG tonight. Tomorrow is weather cooperates, a midnight fishing trip. We will see what happens.

Hot tub later, and chillin under the stars, lol

Morning!

A bit of a dark and gloomy am here. A small front moving through soon with some rain, but nothing too much. It will a bit cooler, high 70's and less humid. Got all my yard work done in time, 22 bags just yesterday. A bit sore.

Today, I feel like comfort food. I'm attempting my sauerbraten again. It has been marinating, so; hoping for no distractions. Spaetzle and red cabbage.
A g/f is coming by to try it with me. She wants to make it for her b/f.

Hoping on a midnight fishing trip, but the front is probably going to screw up the fish today ... may put it off until tomorrow or Monday.

You know the other day when I was going to put my #recipe7138 in the oven? I didn't. But since I don't have to work until 10 pm tonight I'm doing it today. With baked sweet potatoes and the last of the #recipe10665. Should do something for colour contrast, but I don't feel like it. You'll have that.

G/F in town has to work late (seminar/meetings), so she is spending the night; but, will be here tomorrow working finishing up; and stopping by before her flight out. So sauerbraten is tomorrow. Still in the marinate which is fine.

Burgers and spud and corn salad tonight. Considering it is 4pm, I still have to go to the store. Got a bit to do yet.

Felix, trust me ... many 1 color dishes myself. I forget that often; I just make what I like, especially when it is just me.
