Morning Everyone!

Very warm here today for February, 84. And still no rain!
But at least no snow.

Lady #1:
She asked for crock pot beef short ribs. A old standby recipe using beer and onions; roasted sweet potatoes and parsnips; and broccoli rabe

Me:
Ham and Bean soup from the freezer; grilled cheese on whole grain with smoky swiss

Yesterday and today we have been getting rain. Until yesterday we had less than an inch of rain all month. Gainesville area has had a drought and I am sure we still are. We need a lot more rain.

Ditto Laury, NO rain for supposedly a rainy weekend. 2-3 spritzes. Got the side walk wet and that was it.

I'm on my own for dinner, plus I have time to cook! So I'm doing breakfast. Homemade pancakes (why anyone would use a mix is beyond me), fried red potatoes with sour cream, scrambled eggs with Tabasco, bacon, and toast with honey. With apple juice. Yup, all for me.

Frozen Stouffers lasagna and cheesy garlic bread. Hahaha, that's a new one for me! Had to get up at 4:30 this morning to catch my flight and only slept about an hour. I'm beat!

Probably eating leftovers tonight - I have some Chicken Alfredo Pasta I made last night that I still have quite a bit of. I had some for lunch though, so maybe not. It depends on whether or not my dd will want it. That kid doesn't like leftovers unless they have been turned into something new.
