I tried out a new chicken recipe tonight that I got from the Aprons display at Publix. The chicken itself turned out ok, although I wish I had added a bunch more seasoning than it called for. I also made the rice side dish (chicken flavor rice with bacon, cheese, and green onions added to it) that went along with it and neither of us liked that. The chicken had chipotle garlic seasoning on it as well as chipotle ranch - those flavors went really well with the chicken, but all of the flavors needed to get punched up a lot for our tastes.

Tonight I'm making grilled marinated pork chops. I also picked up some beautiful, pencil-thin asparagus at the store yesterday for $1.49 a pound! And heat up some leftover corn and peas.

My plans to make some baked ziti had to be postponed due to rock solid frozen meat. That will be on the menu tomorrow night, so tonight we had a dinner salad and the bf had some French bread pizza.

Made Baked Ziti tonight, half using regular wheat pasta, and the other half batch made with sliced zucchini instead of pasta.
