What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 8/27-8/28
I'm going to start doing this thread every 2 days; and, see how it goes. So tomorrow rather than starting a new thread, just check back to this one. I will just continue it for a 2 day period. Then, we will see how it goes.
Let me know what you think!
Today ... I'm back to my brined grilled apricot BBQ chicken thighs; I ended up going out to lunch yesterday. Roasted parm potatoes and zucchini planks; all on the grill.
I also have a good friend whose dh is on life support. So, for she and her kids; I'm making her kids favorite ... stuffed shells - just a classic with a meat sauce; salad and garlic bread. Caramel ice cream for dessert.
The casserole is always cooked, she just plate what she needs and reheats quickly to make things easy. I made it in 2 disposal pans; so, no dishes too. Anything that makes things easy for her.
So, what are you cooking?

Nothing better than fresh vegs. I just bought some fresh cauli at the farmers market today. We don't start planting Fall crop till mid Sept ... still too hot for us.Memack wrote:Kchurchill5 tonight we are having a cauliflower casserole (I was lucky to get fresh from the garden yesterday) I am adding in some cooked chicken breast so it will be a meal for us
Sounds good to me.
Lovin, slowly becoming a curry fan. Never was, but slowly adding it to my recipes. I'm finding more blends I enjoy. Now add shrmp; and I wouldn't care if there was curry or not, lol.
Happy Cooking all!!!

Pretty quiet day here; and, not much cooking either.
A simple fish foil packet w/tilapia, tomatoes, onions, fennel, zucchini, lemon, dill, white wine; served w/lemon rice; fruit
Easy dinner and no clean up.
