BACK COOKING!

Sorry, broken fridge/freezer and AC. But, all mysteriously working at the moment; but, lived out of coolers for 5 days. However, we took a bit of a break from cooking, using mostly freezer items.

The last couple of days was soup/quesadilla, leftover fried rice; and, tonight is using a gift card for sushi. I was able to buy a few ingredients; so, back to cooking this week.

What's on your table?

KC, hope you didn't lose too much food with your frig down. But how on earth did you make do without AC!? Even up here in Ohio, AC in the summer is a must. How did we live without it before it was not just for the rich.
Last night it was Nathan's hot dogs, mac 'n cheese and homemade 3-bean salad.
Tonight it was chicken breast, yellow wax and green beans, and corn and peas. Also Breyer's Raspberry Cheesecake Gelato Indulgences (killer!!!).

Fridge; no. Have a freezer in the garage. Moved all that. cheese, butter, etc.
The rest into 2 1/2 big coolers and lots of ice from 7-11.
AC, only down 2 days; and, only day 2 got above 82. I'm usually at 80 or 79 is really cool. So, I'm ok with HOT. Just a leak. AC is still cooling; but, a small leak. I did find the crack; so an easy fix.

I can live without AC; but, over 86 ... is HOT; I had that last year for 6 weeks as I had to get a new unit.

Nathans, YUMMY, Love those dogs. beans and mac and cheese; I'm all about that.
I may go for the gelato; but, I do love the corn and peas.

Sushi was good; and, no cooking. A treat with a gift card. Definitely nice.
