Ham steak sounds nice, I always do it on the grill. Cook's is the brand I purchase here. Yes Yams sound like a great side.

Dissie you are a girl after my own heart. A Yam is a potato but I do like the "white".

Denise, Becka I had a box/bag disagreement for years. No Panko comes in a bag.

Sure is, Dissie. That is usually what I cook with ham steak. Might be same thing tonight. Depends on how ambitious I end up being.

I knew it had to happen. Dinner for me is some Emergen-C, followed by a Zicam, followed by some chicken noodle soup. I've got the next 36 hours off, and this foul illness WILL leave my body before I go back!!!

Morning all!

Nin, check you zmail
Finished all my packages and cards last night, so I feel pretty good. NO wrapping yet, but a step in the right direction.

Busy week, but so far so good.

Lady #1: Ham and Corn Chowder, fresh made pumpernickel rolls
- Rolls in the oven, chowder on the stove

Lady #2 - Family in town: Grilled ribeyes with a herb butter; grilled onions; shrimp stuffed baked potatoes (on Paula Deen this past weekend); warm spinach salad (very traditional); warm grilled spice cake with a pear compote
- butter made last night
- bacon and dressing done for the salad
- pear compote on the stove - the spice cake, a box; that is in the oven next
The rest can be done later

Me: Soup tonight (potato leek); grilled portabello sandwich with avocado, tomato and cheese (recipe to be posted).

Hmmm, no idea. Maybe pork tenderloin? Clueless. I actually wish I had a frozen pizza, I'd just toss that in the oven

Thanks. I'm going to come out on top of this if it kills me! Don't have time until the 19th to actually be sick. I'll check messages in a second here, I keep forgetting they're there.

Tonight I'm making gumbo, because I want some. Won't be able to taste too much, but it makes a vat. :)
