I'm still seeing your post from this morning, Kim. Might want to drop a note to the powers that be on the off chance disappearing posts is important enough for them to fix before fall.

Tonight we're having leftover #recipe11747 with some #recipe4719 (I revamped it a little, so depending on when I submit the edit it might not be showing), and some Two Bean and Artichoke Salad (recipe may be submitted this fall if they sort out the nutrition information stupidity in their next "fix").

Thx Felix. Gonna check my other computer when I'm at my friends later and see. I will notify if I see anything strange.
Artichoke and bean salad sounds good, something I would love.

Chicken sounds good; but, working my way through my freezer first, lol.

Morning and ...
My father is no longer with me; but, with me in spirit. So, whether you are a Dad, have a Dad, Gramps, or your kids do ... be sure to spend time, and cherish every minute you can. Just enjoy the day.

Me ... tonight, I am having 2 poker buddies over. One is married, his wife overseas, Navy; and, his roommate. Great guys. Probably watch food network, they are foodies; a movie; or play cards.

- Making 2 huge Prime Rib cuts on the grill, finished with a marsala, shallot butter.
- Stuffed portabello mushrooms (with mostly a breading/cheese type of filling; maybe some celery, onions, and roasted red peppers. Also done on the grill. 'Like a small stuffed mushroom, just 4x the size.'
- And grilled romaine, with a homemade green goddess dressing, diced cucumber and red onion

The boys are bringing dessert; but, I asked for oysters. So, not sure. They know I will eat a cappuccino ice cream, so we will see.
If oysters, on the grill.

I will make a pot of coffee ... which I'm sure they will add amaretto or something. And, I got a good bottle or 2 of wine for dinner.

I guess I am in the monsoon season here in MN. OMG it won't stop raining! Predicted all week too! I swear my garden is going to wash away!

I was planning on steaks on the grill. I don't think I feel like standing in the rain and wind. I will probably do them under the broiler. I think twice baked potatoes and broccoli. That is the plan anyway! We shall see what happens!

I'm doing Tarragon chicken over angel hair pasta, with vegetables in garlic cream sauce (asparagus, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower), and more of the bean and artichoke salad.

I should have waited on the chicken based on leftovers, but I already took it out of the freezer. So be it.

Dis, I was on the grill the other night, with my umbrella - looked pretty stupid, and it was lightning too. But, typical FL. I'm hoping it doesn't rain tonight.

Felix sounds good. I've been picking at my leftovers this week, I'm just about done.

Have a great day everyone; off to beach for a walk. I may take the kayak out; haven't decided. A bit lazy today.

LAZY, lazy, lazy, me!!! I'm gonna slice up a wiener, fry a bit to brown, top with baked beans, and open a can of sauerkraut. I'm not sure why this sounds appealing tonight  I don't often eat wieners, but I do buy a package from time to time, freeze them separately for times like this. That's why I also keep a can of sauerkraut around. Of course, baked beans I love, so I keep a container or two in the freezer from the infrequent times I prepare them.

Didn't do the chicken last night after all, so I'll do it tonight. Along with #recipe8194 (done in the oven) because I wasn't aware until I got the veggies out to make the side dish last night that she bought TWO pounds of asparagus last week.
