Scratch the chicken - I forgot I have meat sauce from the other night to use up, I don't really want to freeze it. So I'll just make some elbows and layer with some cheese and make a casserole out of it.

I made a large batch of http://www.food.com/recipe/my-familys-f ... joes-63689 last week and froze it in individual containers. So tonight it will be that and frozen oven fries.

Those are SO good, it is the only kind I make. I've even made them for pool parties, folks just devour them.

Dinner: French Tarts "Cottage Pie" made with gr. beef. I know I have leeks in the garden but it is still to dark to go outside. Always concerned I will run into a wild animal. I will kick up the potato topping.

So since it still so early I might just go back to bed. It is possible that Dh will be home this evening so I "must" make dinner.

TUES ...

Work - Mostly from home, but I will have to go in at some time. Last night I worked late so I was able to cook before I went in. Tonight I am having the burgers at work that was supposed to be last night. Fries and pickles. But I'm going to add some red wine, garlic and some caramelized onions for something a bit different, maybe some provolone cheese.

You've a few stressful days, a few days off is good.

But yes, I find cooking at times almost comforting. Sometimes it keeps my mind off of everything else.
