Sorry, II was looking for the thread . . . thought it was in the Potluck thread! I've only used dark rum . . . not sure if light would work. I actually use a spiced rum!

Tonight we are having roast beef, red roasted potatoes, corn and yorkshire pudding. I can't wait. It's been so long since I have cooked a roast.

We only have 45 minutes between shows, so I brought some beef stew and macaroni salad.

I'm making Bergy's veggie stuffed wreath. http://www.recipezazz.com/node/13208

Last night we had an appy of herbed goat cheese, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic and kalamata olives. Yummy!

Thanks Galley your recipe could not be any easier. I will use the "dark" rum as recommended. I will purchase the items & make this for Christmas. Thank you again for the recipe.

You may certainly have a slice, Ninner. This should be perfect for Sweetie's Veg Head daughter at Christmas. Winter maters here aren't great so I'll be using sun dried maters. Should be yummy!

Boy, I just got mine finished in time . . . we've been without power for over three hours. I would not have been a happy camper if the power went out in the middle of baking. Just making a note in the rum cake recipe . . . think the amount of glaze is a bit much. Will see if I can cut the recipe down to 3/4's the amount!

How about I warm up the Jet? You set four places for dinner. Yes the fourth is the boy.

Galley thank you again for this recipe. As I posted right down my alley. Easy Peasy. I will use the dark rum as you advised. I look forward to your direction on the glaze.
