I found out why ham is not that great in stir-fry last night. I think a less salty meat is preferred.
yes, I was going to ask how you stir fried it. Ham can be very salty. But I have had a few good luck recipes with stir fry. Not easy however.

At one of the local markets Tom buys pork, beef, chicken and turkey cut up into small pieces for stir fry. He also buys vegetables cut up for stir fry. Usually it's very good. Last night it was too salty and too oniony, I ate it anyway which he was happy with. Depending how I feel determines if I will eat something I don't like. If I really am not feeling well and I'm having breathing problems, a lot lately, if I don't like something, I won't eat it. I grab almonds, chips or fruit instead.

Uhhhhhh...... ???? I am SO not inspired by anything this week. Nothing sounds great. Last night, I took some chicken breast, pounded and seasoned them and browned them on the stove top, poured some BBQ sauce on them and baked them. I found a box of mac & cheese that DS had and I made that. Haha. The chicken actually was quite good - with the browning, you skip that part in the oven that seems to steam them rather than BBQ them.

At any rate - no clue  Whatever sounds good at the store!

Tonight I think we are going out for sushi. Something entirely different than what has been in the fridge.

For Dh it will be some already seasoned lamb chops, pan fried red potatoes and mixed veg. I hate lamb so I will have tomato, grated cheese and lettuce on an onion bun and maybe some soup or noodles.

I want that!! It's been entirely too long since I've worked the right venue and hours to get sushi for dinner!

But...I'm doing what we call corned beef and cabbage, but what is really a combination of that and New England Boiled Dinner. 5-pound piece of corned beef, onions, red potatoes, turnips, carrots and cabbage. The corned beef just hit the stove a few minutes ago, and dinner will be in about five hours. :)

Mom used to do the New England Boil Dinner, her version, but it was just one of those small picnic hams vs corned beef, then carrots, onions, cabbage and potatoes. A creamy mustard sauce. It was delish!

Felix your sushi place looks AWESOME! I would want to eat there often as well. I find it funny that this little tiny town has great sushi. There is a high Korean population and the sushi place does a booming business.
