Morning!

Seems like very cold up north; stay warm everyone. Safe too. At least some have a break for a while. Busy day here.

Ladies #1 ad #2: Card Game Night - Grilled cheese w/bacon, tomato soup; those grape jelly meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, veggie platter w/onion dip. Dessert, chocolate pudding (my version) with whipped cream.
Old School Dinner (their request)

Me, work. One of my co-workers brother owns an Italian restaurant. We often get food and take it to work.
I plan on a late snack (4pm - cheese crackers, salami, etc), then dinner will be around midnight (it is the midnight shift) after all. The guys pick up whatever they have extra. We never know; but, always good.
Salad, pasta, lasagna, bread, etc.
Good Eats!!

I'm well aware of the exercises...I've been on crutches for an extended period of time three out of the last four winters. And I've been cheating and doing some of the exercises now, even though I'm "not ready yet", because last year was a living hell getting it back.

Today I'm going to see the LEGO Movie (in 3D) with my niece and her husband, so I fully intend to be stuffed on movie food (popcorn and candy, mostly). But mom's going out for dinner so my sister gave me some of her leftover scalloped potatoes, and I've got a recipe for root beer pancakes I've been wanting to try. I may possibly also make some #recipe3263.

Root beer pancakes? That sounds different. I bet they will be good from the carbonation.
Lunch today is leftover stir-fry.
Debating if I want kebabs or lasagne for supper.

Here it'll be beef barley stew....rutabaga, carrot, potatoes, onions and celery. This will get me through the weekend ;) Crusty Italian bread.

I've decided on kebabs and turmeric rice and stuffed zucchini and Greek salad. Sounds like a feast!

I miscalculated how hungry I would be with nothing but a bunch of sugar and caffeine in my system, so I ended up with a frozen pizza. I did, however, make the butter tart nut squares. :)

Felix, I also started my exercises a bit early too. Takes time to get back going again. And, I'm sure up north in the cold doesn't help. I have the gulf and jacuzzi for daily therapy; that does help. The cold can really NOT be good.

Root beer pancakes, interesting. Never would of thought of that. However, I think the pizza was a good choice.

Shapes, chicken and noodles sound good - a good cold weather food. And Deepster, soup would get me through the weekend as well. Sue, you did have a feast.

We pigged out on Fettuccine alfredo, spinach stuffed shells, salad, garlic bread. It was great.
Work is boring, but ... someone has to do it. Watching a DVR of the opening ceremony.

Tomorrow, off to the Red Wings TB Lightning game, food ... something on the way.

As mentioned - off to meet a friend from high school, and go to the Red Wings/Lightning game in Tampa. Then, staying at a friends in St Pete. I'll probably grab a bite at the Crab Shack on the way up.

I am very jealous you're going to the game. Oddly, I have never in my life attended a hockey game I wasn't working. I was gonna go to some of our Griffins (AHL, my local team and primary affiliate to the Red Wings) games this season since I'm off, but I'm not allowed in the building because of workers' comp. :(

Dinner tonight is leftover #recipe4684 and some #recipe3263. Those butter tart squares are PHENOMENAL!!!
