Tonight I'll be having beer. And nachos. Two more shows and a loadout today, and then I have tomorrow off. So to the bar I go as fast as my taxi will drive me the second I get done! My entire job this week, all 49 hours of it, has been ironing shirts. Yup...standing in one place at an ironing board pressing dress shirts. If you've ever seen Jersey Boys, you know they wear a lot of shirts. Approximately 200 of them per show, although they do wear them more than one show before getting new ones (other than the Four Seasons, whose 26 shirts get done every show).

Felix, beer sounds good! And nachos of course. Wow 49 hrs of ironing. You are an iron woman. OMG, I cold never; and all that standing. I hate iron 1 shirt, lol. And 200 shirts per show, Geeze!!! That is crazy.

I decided on a steak. Got an awesome 2 strips, nice marble for 9.00 (sale). 1 for tonight, freeze the other. I wasn't going to pay too much, but those looked really good; hopefully they will taste as good as they looked. And 4.50 isn't a bad price for a nice size 1 1/2 lb steak.

I'm having imitation crab salad and carrot raisin salad.....a simple day, a simple dinner :D However, beer and nachos sounds good, too. And of course, I sure wouldn't turn down dinner at Shapes ;) Mmmmm Mmmmm :!:

Agree Deepster. Crab salad and cr salad sound good. My steak was yummy ... but easy. I just cooked on the grill. So, NO pots and pans. The rice was leftover, I simply added peas and scallions too. And I have leftover steak for later this week. It was a big boneless strip; and, for a Walmart piece of meat ... OH so tender. Better than most I have had in a long time.

Yeah, Shapes sounds pretty tasty ... too bad I can get there in time, LOL.

A steak sounds nice, too. Beef has become so expensive I usually try to avoid it, but sometimes I just have to break down and go for it. I'm not wild about Wmart's meats, but it's better now than it used to be. I hasn't been too long ago that Wmart finally started selling USDA graded meat. Before that, I wouldn't eat it at all!!

Deepster, I never ate Walmart meat. But, now all USDA, sticker right on it; but, I admit ... the last 3 things I got there. Better then my regular store - really. I was surprised. It is expensive, I always watch for deals and sales. I eat more chicken, seafood, and veggies; and less red meat.

I enjoy skirt steak. Cheaper and you get more; but, this was a good deal; and, I don't eat steak too often.

Dis, love chili; I have been meaning to make some; but, want to empty out a few soup containers first.

I wouldn't mind making a veggie chili one night. Haven't done that in a while.

Kim, I am wanting to try white chili. Never had that, that is going to be my next soup, or the beer cheese soup. Everyone here loves it, and I have never made that either.
