We had Asian dumplings last night - now most of what I had in the freezer of those is gone. Found out the hard way that there is a specific brand I disliked (Prime Foods), as we threw out 2 whole packages of dumplings + buns from the same brand - they just didn't cook up properly and had a lousy taste. This was in comparison to another brand (an Asian name I can't remember the spelling of) that was very good.
In a way it was a good thing that I had several bags to choose from and made some from each - now I know to avoid that one type.
Tonight I have Chicken Diane planned, with boiled baby potatoes or buttered noodles, plus peas. Chicken Diane is an old recipe I am testing from one of my vintage cookbooks - never had it before. Hope it works out.

Tonight I'm going to make my own version of Chicken a'la King finally. Grocery shopping will happen while I'm at work, so I should have everything I need. I'm basing it on the recipe from my 1956 Watkins cookbook, but pretty much changing everything except the chicken.

I think broccoli cheese soup. You know the kind, with frozen broccoli and velveeta. So bad for you yet it is one of our favorites.

Also, rolls from the freezer.

Lies! It's all lies!!!
I don't feel like standing up that long or thinking that hard, plus I had an ungodly amount of sushi for lunch, so now I'm making
Egg and Bacon Breakfast Bake.

Felix, I always like breakfast for dinner.
Today has been a day with no Internet, cable or phones. I have no idea what is going on but it has effected all things such as the cable company & Bell/ATT.

NO AC again - not a happy camper. House is 85; and it was cloudy today and rained a bit. If it is sunny tomorrow, it will be well above 85.
I guess that is my birthday present, lol.
At least tomorrow, not that much cooking; but service is not until Fri, yuck!
Another day of feeling not that good and got no sleep.
I'm going with the meatloaf sandwich, and no fries. The sandwich is plenty for me.

Church sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well. No A/C does not help that. We had power during the day but that was it.
SOS. Please send me a meatloaf sandwich.

At least you have electricity, your house isn't flooded, and you haven't had to move to the high school gym on a cot! ;)
