Felix, white peaches ... love those. Haven't seen those down here this season. They are so good.
Dis, sounds like a good BBQ dinner. I would love that.

I ended up with my salmon. My red potatoes ... 1 bad one ruined the last 3 I was hoping to have. I ended up using a baker; also with bad spots - just got it. Sliced it for the grill; but, they don't hold up as well, so I sliced them. Good; not what I wanted. The potatoes also dripped into my carrots (last 2 good farmers market carrots). So, I ended up using those baby snack carrots. Not what I wanted, but turned out ok.

All in all. Good. Not what I wanted is all. I have some potatoes left, salmon left; and a few veggies. Thinking a veggie frittata for dinner tomorrow. But, we will see.

Morning Everyone!

Up at 3:45am. Was supposed to work, but didn't. Unfortunately, I was geared to work, so ... NO sleep. I have to head in to work today for a bit; a few errands and appts; and then home for the night. I need to get a good nights sleep as I have a Dental appt tomorrow 8am ... that requires Valium. LOTS of it, lol!! And, it's my birthday :( What was I thinking, dentist and my birthday. Not a good combo.

Dinner ... Egg drop soup, and a new recipe; baked vegetarian egg rolls. Will post the recipe, after they are tested again. I have made them several times; but want to make sure the ingredient list is right. They are a bit healthier, and still delicious.

Making my BF's special birthday dinner tonight - chicken breasts in wine/cream sauce (going to mix a few ideas together), steamed asparagus, boiled baby potatoes, ice cream cake for dessert. His birthday isn't until Friday, but we wanted to still get to have our usual Friday Night Pizza night, so I bumped up the dinner to tonight.

I bought rolls last night, but they are already almost gone, so I might bake some today if i get the chance to serve with the chicken. We'll see.

I have no idea...I'm running away to my niece's house for the weekend, which means I am not required to even consider thinking about what's for dinner until Tuesday. :D

Egg rolls just didn't sound good. I hit the store and saw a great steak under 7.00. A nice marbled rib-eye. Fresh cut too. I couldn't pass it up.

So, I decided to cook myself a early b'day dinner. More later. Steak is on the menu. And, of course it is grilled - well most of it ... I am throwing in a old childhood fave in there too.

Egg rolls ... tomorrow night.

I skipped out on dinner tonight. I ate a very late breakfast/lunch. I'm thinking I might do some simple cheese and jalapeno nachos for a snack, but I'm really not hungry. Just going to settle in and watch a movie.

Happy Birthday, Kc :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Had the chicken in a wine/cream sauce, steamed lemony asparagus, boiled baby potatoes and Carvel ice cream cake last night for a (day early) birthday dinner for my BF. Tonight, since it is Friday Night Pizza, I am planning to make some homemade Sicilian pizza based on a recipe froma little old cute Italian grandma I saw posted on youtube. Hopefully it will turn out well! :)
